CGMA University Program enrolment for the 2025/26 academic year is now open

This week, recruitment for the CGMA® University Program has opened. The Program, delivered by AICPA & CIMA in cooperation with leading universities in Europe, enables students to start pursuing the CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accounting) Professional Qualification while still studying.

The CGMA Qualification is a unique solution on the European market, combining finance and business. The qualification program is developed in collaboration with employers to best address their current and future needs. The qualification equips students with a set of professional tools necessary for making strategic and operational business decisions, and it thoroughly prepares them for a career in the financial sector – regardless of their position. It has a long-standing reputation and is highly valued in the job market.



Furthermore, the latest salary report prepared by Randstad for CIMA shows that certified finance professionals earn from 16% to even 25% more than those without professional certificates – depending on the position. This confirms that investment in the CGMA qualification can genuinely translate into higher earnings and faster career progression.

The CGMA University Program is available to students of Bachelor and Master programs accredited by AICPA & CIMA. Candidates who complete all required subjects as part of the Program will be exempt from certain CIMA exams, and, after successfully passing the relevant final CGMA exam, will be able to obtain the Certificate in Business Accounting (Cert BA) or the Diploma in Management Accounting (CIMA Dip MA). These are official steps toward completing the CGMA Professional Qualification and obtaining the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation.
