Become a CIMA Ambassador and make a real impact on the development of the CGMA Program at your university!
CIMA is looking for ambitious students who would like to join the CIMA Ambassador community in the 2026/2027 academic year.
This program is more than standard promotional activity at partner universities. As a CIMA Ambassador, you will be actively involved in university life while also helping shape the direction of the program for students. It is a unique opportunity to join a global community of more than 597,000 professionals, develop your leadership skills, and become an authentic NextGen voice within CIMA.
Your responsibilities:
University activities area:
- Promoting the CGMA Program: You will raise awareness of our brand on campus by sharing substantive knowledge about university program with your peers.
- Networking and representation: You will represent CIMA at conferences, career fairs, lectures, and other events. You will monitor the university calendar, suggest initiatives worth attending, and build relationships with the Careers Office, student organizations, and academic clubs.
- Social media activities: You will take part in online campaigns, sharing your own experience as a student of accounting and finance and as a candidate pursuing the CGMA qualification.
- Organizational support: You will help organize webinars and meetings between CIMA representatives and students. You will also work closely with the University Program Coordinator and support them in key tasks.
- Content distribution: You will promote our events, webinars, student competitions, and educational resources.
Supporting CGMA program development:
- NextGen voice: We value your authentic perspective. You will analyze student needs and identify the expectations of the younger generation regarding development programs, as well as the realities you face when entering the job market. Your insights will help define how CIMA can support young talent even more effectively.
- Analysis and evaluation: You will take part in SWOT analyses and assess the effectiveness of activities carried out at your university, recommending areas for improvement.
- Co-creating solutions: You will design new ways of reaching students, recommend innovative communication formats for the CGMA Program at your university, and help develop promotional strategies tailored to your university’s specific environment.
